To raise public confidence that funds raised
by our members are responsibly managed, Charity Direct Incorporated
actively promotes ethical behaviour, responsible cost management
and compliance with legislation and Code of Conduct.
Accountability: Members
will be accountable to Charity Direct Inc to adhere to our
Mission. Unethical behaviour will not be tolerated.
Integrity: We
will commit to ethical behaviour in our dealings with all
stakeholders. We will deal with the public and Members alike
in a transparent and honest manner.
Unity and Equity:
We will work to ensure all Members are supported equally and
opportunities for information sharing area created.
Relevance: We
will be accountable to Members for ensuring that information
provided is relevant and of the highest standard.
No it is not. Charity Direct is an association
of like minded not-for-profit and charitable organisations,
managed by members on a voluntary basis. Charity Direct does
not raise funds in its own right. It does not operate telemarketing
or call centres, lotteries or any other form of direct fundraising
to the benefit of Charity Direct.
It exists to serve the public and its members through assembly and dissemination of information.
