Foundation Daw Park was established in the 1990's by veterans to provide funding, facilities and equipment to support world-class medical research and patient care at the Repatriation General Hospital (The Repat), Daw Park.
The Repat is a 300 bed acute care teaching hospital with over 1500 staff dedicated to the care of veterans, their dependents and older people within the community seeking the special expertise and attention the hospital offers.
For more than fifty years the Repat has delivered this unique level of care and the demand for its services will contine long into the future. To secure this caring role for generations to come, Foundation Daw Park was established.
Our vision
Based at Repatriation General Hospital (South Australia) and working closely with their Research Management Committee, Foundation Daw Park will by 2020 be nationally recognised as a major provider of funding grants for medical research into health issues related to our veterans.
Our mission
Through dynamic business partnerships, committed donors, community support and our people, raise substantial funds to enhance the ability to deliver cutting-edge medical research and world-class care to Repat patients.

- The importance of Community
