Asthma SA has a mission to reduce the social, health and economic impact of asthma within the community through three key areas – education, research and advocacy.

Asthma affects 1 in 10 adults, 1 in 7 adolescents and 1 in 4 children. It is still of concern that there are 50 deaths from asthma in SA each year.
