CanDo4Kids New Interactive Sensory Playground 10-December-09 11:08 - Lynne Shaw CanDo4Kids is excited to announce the completion of the Interactive Sensory Playground based at our Modbury North site. This innovative playground is the only one of its kind in Australia and has been specifically designed for children who have a vision or hearing impairment. The playground features computer controlled sounds, music and pre-recorded audio programs that are activated when a child presses one of the buttons integrated into the playground structure. The playground enables children who have a sensory impairment to combine physical activity with a fun learning experience. When a child resses the buttons, date in the form of sound is sent to a wireless speaker. With children crawling, swinging, walking and jumping all over the playground, the advanced sound equipment has been designed to withstand a toddler tornado! It is more than just a playground
